CareNet Residents:
Are employees of CareNet (an affiliate of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist)
Must be associate-licensed by one the North Carolina counseling licensure boards
Provide clinical services at one of CareNet’s eight regional counseling centers and/or in integrated care settings
Are part of a small-group learning cohort that meets regularly for training, supervision, personal support, and professional identity formation
What Our Graduates Are Saying:
“The CareNet Residency was nothing short of life changing for me. My family, my partner, the staff at my center, and my clients have all experienced (and commented on) the strength grown in me through the Residency.”
“The CareNet Residency significantly expedited the natural learning curve of becoming a competent and confident therapist. As I connect with persons from my master’s program about their development since graduate school, I realize that I am years beyond them.”
“The CareNet Residency taught me different modalities, built my confidence, and helped me grow spiritually. I use what I learned in the residency every day, and the relationships of support have continued beyond the residency.”
