CareNet Awarded Grant To Participate In Research Project With Brigham Young University
We are delighted to announce that CareNet has been awarded $102,000 to participate with Brigham Young University in a large data gathering project: “A Practice-Based Approach to Understanding the Role and Impact of Spiritually-Integrated Psychotherapy Interventions on Client Outcome.” This is an incredible opportunity to put big data around this topic, as we already know anecdotally the power of the work that we do. Now, we will certainly undergird our assumptions with data to improve our work and support our message from a stronger evidence-based position. Among other things, the grant includes stipends for CareNet clinicians to participate in multiple facets of the project.
This grant also provides CareNet with the ability to more formally establish and evolve our research infrastructure, so that we can pursue other opportunities and more fully align with our academic medical center’s tripartite mission of academics, clinical excellence and research.
As our next step, our team will begin training on the data gathering process. We will keep you up to date on our progress and how you can be involved in this exciting new opportunity.
