What are the core ingredients of a happy, healthy family? While there are many ways to answer this question, one usually stands out – that’s balance. However, maintaining this balance is an art and requires constant attention, commitment and dedication. What’s more is that this balance can be easily upset by major life events like the loss of job, financial pressures, marriage, divorce, illness, death, work-life challenges and school pressures. Additionally, the imbalance created by having to deal with mental health issues like depression, substance abuse, chronic illness and eating disorders, can also affect your family. In short, this balance is very fragile and requires constant attention.
Our counselors at CareNet will help your family to uncover the issues at the root of your family’s imbalance. Then, they will help each family member learn how to more effectively manage themselves, and interact in ways that are healthier and more constructive to supporting your family’s group dynamic. Our counselors may also recommend individual sessions for some family members who they believe will benefit from this additional counseling.
Our Goal: To improve communications, reinforce desired behaviors and help you create, renew and maintain a healthy sense of balance for your entire family.
