Be In The Know
Having access to mental health counseling and care has become increasingly critical both here in the greater Winston-Salem/Forsyth County area, across North Carolina as well as across our country. From prevention and early identification to intervention for those at risk, we all need to be in the know and consider helping those that need us most get the help they deserve.

FACTS

Because 1 in 5 adults currently have some type of mental health condition

Because youth depression is on the rise and 80% of kids with depression are getting no or insufficient treatment.

Because over 55% of adults with mental illness are receiving no treatment

IMPACT

Many of our friends right here in the greater Winston-Salem/Forsyth County area do not have insurance or the funds to pay for counseling. We depend on the generous financial donations from individuals and groups to provide over $135,000 in free and reduced care to those who need it.

28% of the clients we serve in the greater Winston-Salem/Forsyth County area are under the age of 18. Early intervention is the key to helping those with mental health challenges live productive lives.
