In the interview, “Actively addressing inequality in mental health care access,” Pulgar discusses her career in counseling and addresses some of the key issues impacting access to mental health care in the Latinx community. She touches on the lack of access to mental health resources, obstacles faced when mental health resources are available, and what professionals and community members can do to help increase access to mental health care within the Latinx community.
