Group counseling provides a supportive and therapeutic environment in which members can explore and discuss their concerns with peers and our CareNet therapist. Within the group setting, members have the opportunity to practice new ways of interacting with others, as well as be challenged to think about the way they currently interact with others. Group counseling also builds trust and provides participants the opportunity to both receive feedback and offer feedback to their peers. It also helps people recognize that they are not alone when it comes to what they may be dealing with.
To learn more about the types of group counseling being offered through each of our centers, please contact them directly.
Note: Not all services are available at all locations. Please contact your local CareNet center to confirm counselor and program availability.
“
For me, being in a group with others who were dealing with many of the same issues allowed me to learn from them and comfortably share what I was experiencing. Group counseling was a safe place for me to grow, recover and restore balance to my life.”
– Mary A., Grateful Client
