Seniors Counseling

There is one thing that we can’t change, and that’s the fact that aging is an unavoidable part of life. While some adults look forward to retirement and grandchildren, others find it difficult adjusting to this stage of life. That’s because with aging comes the possibility for health problems, loss of a spouse and loved ones, loneliness, changing family dynamics, finances and new living arrangements.

From handling the difficulties that come with aging to overcoming and better understanding issues you may have been putting off, our therapists are here to help you manage the many challengers that come with aging.

Our services are for seniors who may be experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including:

  • Grief and loss
  • Depression
  • Marriage
  • Family conflicts
  • Anxiety and panic disorders
  • Communication with loved ones
  • Men’s issues
  • Women’s issues

I had always looked forward to retirement. Six months after retiring, I became a little depressed and couldn’t seem to get out of the funk I was in. My wife tried her best to make me happy but I just wasn’t getting there. That’s when I realized I needed a little help and turned to CareNet. My counseling taught me to look at retirement, and myself, through a whole new lens.”
